She is doing her doctorate at Humboldt University in Berlin in the field of sign language education.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">German Sign Language (DGS) was not widely used in German schools for a long time due to a history of oppression and oralism in Europe. Now many laws, perceptions and attitudes have changed, and Fabienne Schwartz explores how these changes are part of the Margarete-von-Witzlebenschule and shape its implementation of this language. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">The strategy picture shows pictorial metaphors for the different positions, areas of tension, concerns, opportunities and goals that are being discussed on the topic. The visualization can help all participants to gain an overview and find clarity on their own position.
