These scientific illustrations reflect the social debate on the subject of the search for a repository.
The search for a final repository for the radioactive remains of our nuclear age is a sensitive topic. For this reason, I found the challenge of drawing illustrations for the informative and interactive exhibition at Karl9 particularly exciting.
The multi-layered briefing, in which several ITAS scientists were involved, was not easy to implement. I have tried to give this sensitive topic with all its controversial aspects a solution-oriented visual language.

I designed further science illustrations for ITAS on their core concepts, which are used in various presentations.
Furthermore, I accompanied the ITAS event “Trust in Science” with digital graphic recording.
