These illustrations were created for a brochure of the
Bioeconomy Initiative, launched by the BMBF.
The bioeconomy provides novel, bio-based alternatives to fossil-fuels-based products. This richly illustrated brochure uses detailed pictures to present everyday fields in which biobased innovations are already used – from sports & leisure, livestyle & household, work & workshop, nutrition & health to fashion & cosmetics. Five products are used as examples to illustrate how they are manufactured and why they enable more sustainable consumption.
For me personally, this is a subject to which great hopes are attached. To make this approach for a life in better harmony with nature accessible through illustrations I found very meaningful.
