The Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology commissioned me to create two animated explainers as part of the BMBF-funded research project “Innovations for the production, services and work of tomorrow”.
The animated explanatory films illustrate how MAP – Machine Learning for Agile Process Management in Mechanical and Appliance Engineering helps to improve production flows in two different specific user cases.
The challenge was to transform the detailed, technical and scientific briefing specifications into a catchy storyline. The client wanted the symbol of tangled threads that were then brought into harmony, and my task was to implement the symbol graphically.
